Our Mission
Caregiver's Touch seeks to empower caregivers with safe and simple mobile tools as they dedicate personal attention to loved ones in need of care.
About the Founders
Caregiver's Touch has been created by Dan and Barbara Henderson, and Dean and Carrie Hastriter - four professionals with expertise in the areas of computer technology, healthcare, scientific research, education and business management. After spending several combined years caring for and helping care for their grandparents, parents, and children with health concerns, these two couples decided to develop an organizational tool to help themselves and other families care for their loved ones.
Dean and Carrie Hastriter
Carrie, along with her two sisters, has watched her dedicated parents tirelessly meet the needs of four grandparents who have lived into their 80s and 90s. Dean grew up with a grandmother suffering from Alzheimer's disease, and witnessed the tremendous strain it placed on his parents as they cared for her in their home. Carrie, Dean, and their two sons live in the Northwest.
Dan and Barbara Henderson
Barbara is the daughter of immigrants from Europe, and consequently has been a primary caregiver throughout her adult life. Barbara and Dan are parents to a young son who experienced significant health problems as an infant and required a health care professional to live in their home. Barbara, Dan, and their son enjoy good health today and happily reside in the Northwest.
